Practising change not powerpointing it

What does it take for you to take on board a new habit?  To stick to a new gym routine, to journal daily?  To walk a little further?  A lot right?  A lot of commitment and a lot of daily practice and when you fall off, you dust yourself down and start all over again.

When change is a thing we imagine we can roll it out, send out newsletters or send people on a series of workshops.  We delete the knowledge that we have about how hard it is for us to change when we think about our organisations!

To change takes practise – with this knowledge how can you change your own change programmes?  What can you do to help your team start to practice the change, to test it out, to improve and tweak before making it a ‘new habit’?
