I’m really interested in what it takes to build new habits, perspectives, skills, responses. I know my default is to read yet another book, but deep down I remember that no one learnt to ride a bike by reading a book!
Michaelangelo didn’t become amazing by reading-he developed amazing insights by doing, practising, having a go. We’ve forgotten the art of learning and can rely on a plethora of “get rich quick fixes” to help us change. They rarely work. Instead can we reconnect with the scary joy of being a learner? Can we find our own support for when things get tough?
What would you like to learn this month? Great piece from @ThisIsSethsBlog http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2015/09/attitude-is-a-skill.html
