We humans like to think we are super rational and our behaviour is really pretty sensible and pretty reasonable. Does that ring true?
Unfortunately, in the last few years research has shown that we are less logical that we’d like to think and that more of our responses are automatic rather than carefully planned. Often this works really well (who wants to stop and think about digestion, breathing or our immune system!) But sometimes, our automatic responses hide what is really going on.
This great post from @sethgodinblog gives us pause for thought – are some of our responses driven by fear? If they are, then are we really getting the results we want or the live we desire?
